Drive up to Ardrossan late evening 180 miles – 4 hours
Day one
Park at Ardrossan.
Land at Brodick Bay on the first ferry 7am, £3 for foot passengers. Cycle to Lamlash Bay and set up at campsite.
Explore the southern half of the island then back to camp

Day Two
Fairly early start, leave campsite and head up to Lochranza to get the ferry to Kintyre, this runs several times a day. 30 minute crossing time.
Land on Kintyre, Claonaig and cycle down to Tayinloan (19 miles)
Ferry to Gigha and the. Explore Gigha (5.5 miles long) wild camp on Gigha at the tombolo beach (north end of island)

Day Three
Leave Gigha back onto Kintyre and cycle for the ferry to Arran (19 miles)
Back on Arran do the remaining 22 miles on the way to Brodick and the ferry back to Ardrossan on the mainland.
